Instructions to use the house in an easy and immediate way.

Accessing the external gate

To access the gate, please open the white box, insert your 6 digits PIN and then press “E” (enter). In case you digit a wrong number you can reset the input by pressing “A”.
Then pull the gate handle and push.
Please close the white box at the end 🙂

Accessing the house (exclusive entrance) and beach accessories storage.

Enter the same PIN in the arch door, and access the private entrance. The stairs is part of the house and only you will have access to it, so you can leave shoes or other personal items in the stair room.

The left wardrobe contains 2 sunbeds, 2 sunchairs and 1 beach umbrella. Make sure you dig a deep hole to screw the support pole into the sand. If you are not practice with this, the lifeguard Team on the beach (red t-shirt, beside a red boat) will help you if asked.

How to open the armored shutters

Each room has armored shutters. Each one has a key. You can open each shutter simply turning the key and pushing the shutter to the wall, where the block will automatically stops it from moving. To close the shutter, press the “C” shape bottom plastic unlock lever and then make sure to close it with the key again.

Important: when leaving the house for a temporary trip (to the beach or to Rome) it is suggested to close the bedroom small window shutter.

Upon Check-out all the shutters must be closed with key. Thank you 🙂

The house has a traditional moka machine, and also a De Longhi coffee machine for Nespresso capsules.

Even though the machine is new, i find out that in some case the capsule will not be opened by the machine if the top of the capsule is not correctly pressed down. In the video you can see how to make sure the capsule is correctly insert in the machine.

And if you are wondering what taste can have each color of capsules, i am quite sure nobody knows, not even in Nespresso, as the description on the boxes is barely nonsense to me, so please refer to the official page

Microwave – how to open it

You would be wondering: “do i really need a video to open a microwave?”
Try to open it without instructions and then you will understand why i decided to make the video 🙂

The laundry – washing machine and accessories for the terrace living.

On the last top floor, there is a small laundry wich contains a washing machine and an ironing table.

The brown pillows can be used to sit in the terrace table. Please set them back when leaving the house.

To use the washing machine you can switch the power on by turning the wheel on the desired program (like the rapid 14 or 30 minutes). Then put the clothes, close the internal gate, as shown in the video, and press start on the touch display.

The shelf also has a bulb light that you can use to hang on the terrace umbrella, to better light your dinners or aperitif time.

The light has a dimmer that you can regulate with remote control or with manual button to decrease or increase the light.

The roof terrace and the clothesline

To access the terrace, please make sure that you block the door with the vase, like shown in the video.

The wind can hurt the door as in some days is very strong. Turning left you will encounter the zip clothesline wich you can use to hang clothes to dry (clothes pegs are in the shelf)

The terrace – how to turn on external lights

Beside the door there are 2 buttons. Left turns on the external lights of the terrace. Right turns on the stairs lights.

Hint for safety – mind the steps 🙂

The terrace is the best place to have some wine and have fun 🙂
As stairs are very steep, please make sure to not go fast when climbing or descending, and please take care of your safety in case your feet are wet, or in case you had fun with some drinks 🙂

The dish washer

To use the dish washer, open the main door, take the tablet from the shelf over the fridge, insert the tablet in the machine, close the door and press Program button until reaching the P5 program, then press Play.
